My sleep data isn’t tracked automatically

For iOS devices, please make sure your sleep schedule in the Health app is intact.

Additionally, check if your iOS version is up to date via the device settings.

For Android devices, you need to set up integration: Sleep as Android + Health Connect:

1. Sleep as Android — a sleep tracking app

2. Health Connect — a system that connects health data from different apps

Set up integration between Sleep as Android <—> Health Connect:

  1. Open Sleep as Android

  2. Go to Settings → Services → Health Connect (see screenshot)

  3. Enable integration and grant all required permissions

  4. Open Health Connect

  5. Make sure Sleep as Android and Sleepagotchi have access to sleep data

How to track your sleep:

  1. Before going to bed, start sleep tracking manually or enable automatic sleep detection

  2. In the morning, stop the tracking

  3. Your sleep data will automatically be saved in Health Connect

Check if the data appears:

  • Open Health Connect → Sleep tab

  • Make sure there's a new entry from Sleep as Android

If sleep data doesn’t show up:

  • Check that the sleep tracking was completed

  • Make sure Sleepagotchi has permission to access sleep data in Health Connect

  • Ensure that Sleep as Android is syncing with Health Connect

  • Try restarting your device

Note: Sleep as Android is just one option. If you use another sleep tracking app that supports Health Connect, that should work too.

If you're using another working sleep tracker, feel free to share it with the community — it could help other users too!
